Yesterday, I submitted an RMA request to Belkin for my N1 Vision router. The N1 Vision isn't a great wireless router, but it does have a lifetime warranty. Less than 24 hours later, I received an email from Belkin customer service that my new router is on the way!
This is good news. The email does have me a bit concerned since it looks very much like an invoice, and ends with "Thank you for shopping at Belkin." I did choose the advanced replacement option which means they have my credit card just in case I don't return the old device. I'm hopefully this is just a form email...
UPDATE: @Belkin has assured me that I won't be charged unless I fail to return the busted router within the alloted time. My understanding is that I have 20 days...
