Sun Microsystems released eight new security updates this morning. Although I usually try and give a brief synopsis of each new update, 8 is a lot of update(s). So instead, I’m going to include the titles and links for each update below.
- Security Vulnerability in the Sun Java Web Console May Allow Access to Privileged Data or Lead to Denial of Service
- A Security Vulnerability in Sun Cluster Software may Lead to Data Corruption and “send_mondo” Panics
- Multiple Security Vulnerabilities in Mozilla Layout Engine for Solaris 8, 9 and 10
- Multiple vulnerabilities in libfreetype, Xsun(1) and Xorg(1)
- Security Vulnerability in libX11 for Solaris
- Security Vulnerability in PostgreSQL SECURITY DEFINER Functions May Allow Escalation of Privileges
- Directory Server May Hang Due to a Memory Leak in the Network Security Services (NSS) Software
- StorageTek 5210/5220/5310/5320 NAS Tape Library with Multiple Drives Sharing the Same Target IDs May Lose Drive Visibility to the NDMP Backup Module
For some reason, a few of the links provided by Sun may occasionally return proxy errors. I believe this error is just transient, though.
