Cisco Systems announced one new security update this morning.

Denial of Service Vulnerability in Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) Software

This update addresses one vulnerability in the Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) software. If a device running WAAS software is configured for Edge Services receives a flood of TCP SYN packets on port 139 or 445, it may cause the device to stop processing all types of traffic resulting in a denial of service. Cisco has made software fixes and workarounds available.
