Reload on Processing a Command Including a Regular Expression
The Cisco Product Security Incident Response Team has acknowledged that certain regular expressions can crash a BGP router. I mentioned that this rumor was floating around in mid-August. This issue is related to a resolved vulnerability known as “PRP crash by show ip bgp regexp“. As of yet, there are no workarounds available.
