The Mozilla team released Firefox 3 Release Candidate 3 a couple of days ago. This will likely be the last preview release as rumors are flying that the official Firefox 3 release will be on June 17.
Things are looking good and I think Firefox 3 is ready for prime-time. It’s been a few months since I started using Firefox 3, and I couldn’t be happier with it’s performance in terms of speed, memory footprint, and reliability. I’m also a big fan of the improved Mac OS X integration and so-called Smart Location Bar. All of my beta experience has been on my 12″ PowerBook G4, and I have no doubt that it will run great on my 20″ iMac.
If you’ve got any last minute thoughts on Firefox 3 before it goes live, leave a comment.
