A special extended edition of Tech Messages for 2007-08-22 through 2007-08-23:
- LinkRank Visualization - This is a fun tool. I’m not sure it currently is of much use to the average BGP operator, but it’s a really neat concept.
- WriteCustomCondition - RT Wiki - If you are thinking of doing anything advanced with RT scrips, you’ll need to know how to write customer conditions.
- Gmail, the Top Web Mail Service with the Least Amount of Free Storage - The Gmail ‘conversations’ feature is enough to keep me around.
- PuttyTabs - Tabs for PuTTY - PuTTY is by the far the best terminal client for Windows. When I was a Windows user, I would have a dozen PuTTY windows open and hanging around. Perhaps this application could have helped me get a bit more organized.
- Mac OS X 10.4 Help: Adding accent marks to characters - You’d be surprised how often accent marks are needed. Just often enough to make sure you don’t remember how to do it when you need it.
