I've been having problems with Google Chat (in Gmail) this afternoon. I decided that logging out of Gmail and restarting Firefox might be a helpful exercise. When I returned to Gmail, I noticed that something was wrong: everything was right.

For some odd reason, I seem to have been zapped back to the days of non-colored labels. That's right, all my labels are once again that bland green color. You know the one — that nice subdued non-offensive green that just says, "Hey, I'm a label."

Better yet, in Firefox 3 (Beta) all my subjects line up once again. I don't know if this is actually "fixed", but it seems that backing out the colored label change has fixed the major brokenness in Gmail when using Firefox 3 (Beta). Now if only the Gmail Chat client would start working for me again.
